Job Description

Provides significant project leadership for the Internal Audit process and oversees the associated testing of controls
Serves as the primary interface with process owners, external audit management and Corporate
Accounting personnel to communicate design assessment conclusions and testing results
Develops subject matter expertise within select audit and business process areas (and / or
technologies), and frequently advises VGO management on risk and control issues, follow-up audits, and management requests in those areas
Participates in annual risk assessment interviews with VGO management, and provides Internal
Audit management feedback on design of annual Audit Plan
Acquires and demonstrates an understanding of the business process / legal entity under review and
identify potential risks
Prepares the Engagement Program, Audit Objectives Memo, Draft Audit Report and various other audit and project management related documents (as prescribed by VGO Internal Audit s policies and procedures) by coordinating input / feedback from the audit team and client
Designs and executes an effective strategic testing approach
Reviews workpapers to evaluate fieldwork and testing results to verify that appropriate conclusions
