Senior Associate

Overview

• Perform IP searches such as prior art searches, patentability assessments, etc, for different technology areas

•Facilitating protection of IP generated; Coordinating various activities related to IP filings, prosecution, maintenance, etc.

• Identify and evaluate innovative technologies with respect to their technical advantages, market potential, readiness levels, etc.

• Collaborate with researchers, scientists, and inventors to understand the potential applications and market viability of their creations

• Develop and execute strategies for the commercialization and licensing of intellectual property

• Facilitate partnerships and collaborations with industry players to accelerate technology adoption

Skill Set:

• Experience in Intellectual property management and knowledge about various IP procedures in different jurisdictions

• IP searching and Analytics

• Techno-commercial evaluation of technologies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Passion for innovation and the ability to stay abreast of industry trends

• Outreach capabilities to effectively promote technologies to potential industry partners

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or Technology e.g., Material Science/Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences/Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering).
