✨ Role Overview

SAP ABAP on HANA Developer

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance applications using
ABAP on HANA
,
RAP
, and
SAP BTP
.
Build
CDS Views
,
OData services
, and implement custom business logic in S/4HANA.
Work on
S/4HANA Cloud and On-Premise
extensibility using RAP and BTP services.
Perform code pushdown techniques, AMDP, and HANA SQL scripting.
Participate in
S/4HANA migration
or conversion activities (advantage).
Analyze requirements, prepare technical specifications, and deliver high-quality code.
Perform debugging, performance tuning, and unit testing.
Collaborate with functional consultants and cross-functional teams.
Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and clean core principles.

💡 Required Skills

Strong expertise in
ABAP on HANA
(CDS, AMDP, OData, HANA SQL).
Hands-on development with
RAP (Managed/Unmanaged Scenarios)
.
Experience in
SAP BTP
(CAP/RAP extensions, BAS, deployment, cloud services).
Good understanding of
Fiori elements
, annotations, metadata extensions.
Experience integrating BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA.
Debugging and performance optimization in HANA-based systems.
Experience in
S/4HANA migration projects
preferred.

🎓 Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
SAP certifications in ABAP, S/4HANA, RAP, or BTP are an added advantage.
