Senior Associate – Energy, Infrastructure, and Regulatory Practice

We are seeking application from corporate lawyers with 4-6 years of experience for our energy, infrastructure, and regulatory practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects in the rapidly evolving sectors of renewable energy and infrastructure while providing expert legal guidance across a broad range of practice areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and preparing a variety of commercial contracts, including but not limited to EPC agreements, with a strong focus on energy and infrastructure-related matters.
  • Drafting letters, notices, and other correspondence to stakeholders, ensuring clarity, compliance, and strategic alignment with clients’ goals.
  • Conducting thorough legal research and analysis on complex corporate law issues, industry regulations, and emerging trends to support client engagements.
  • Providing clear, well-reasoned legal opinions and strategic advice on a range of advisory matters, including regulatory frameworks, and other industry-specific issues.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships by delivering high-quality, responsive legal services in a collaborative manner.
  • Advising on diverse legal matters, including regulatory compliance, corporate structuring, and contract negotiation, with a particular focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Desired Experience & Skills:

  • Strong background in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, preferably (but not pre-requisite) with exposure to infrastructure and regulatory matters.
  • Knowledge of the energy sector, especially in renewable energy, would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with a capacity to handle complex legal issues across various sectors.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, while also being comfortable taking the lead on complex matters.
  • Not staying restricted to what has been assigned only but always looking to add value for process improvement and standardization.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outward looking, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
  • High Project Management ability and ability to close tasks showing tangible results.
  • Exceptional MS Office skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

We welcome applications from candidates with a broad range of legal experience, particularly those with an interest in energy, infrastructure, and regulatory law. If you’re passionate about these sectors, please reach out to us.
