Job Summary

The Senior Associate position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of revenue capture for assigned business units within Trimont’s Americas operating companies. This position is crucial for guaranteeing that revenue is recorded in the general ledger accurately and in a timely manner. This role requires keen attention to detail and a collaborative problem-solving approach to addressing issues.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that revenue for the assigned client portfolio is recorded accurately and promptly, adhering to monthly close schedules
  • Collaborate with the billing team to understand billed amounts and prepare monthly accruals to ensure comprehensive revenue capture
  • Develop monthly revenue analysis schedules by client and revenue stream, including variance analysis
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts and resolve any reconciling items promptly
  • Deliver prompt and thorough responses to revenue inquiries from department management and business partners
  • Undertake additional projects and tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, including work with accounts receivable (AR), month-end close procedures, and account analysis/reconciliation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Committed to delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and independent, with a proven track record of initiative and responsibility ownership
  • Skilled in effectively interacting with team members across all organizational levels
  • Capable of meaningful communication, actively sharing information, and valuably considering others' perspectives
  • Applies logical analysis to problem-solving, systematically addressing challenges and seeking effective solutions beyond the obvious
  • Excellent time management skills, able to efficiently handle multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines
