Job Description: As a Sales Manager at Abbott Nutrition, your primary responsibility is to contribute to the long-term growth of Abbott Nutrition products in your designated territory/area. You will achieve this by servicing a defined customer base through a reliable distributor network. Additionally, you will be managing and developing a team of sales representatives to generate new business and grow existing business throughout the area. Your role also involves working on developing a reliable distributor network that optimizes the breadth and availability of product SKUs within the area. Key Responsibilities: - Drive results to gain market share within the area through execution of sales and distribution plans - Analyze market and category opportunities within the territory using real-time omnichannel business intelligence - Hold distributors accountable to the service, infrastructure, and financial terms of the contract - Provide support to team members in negotiating win-win solutions with distributors - Collaborate with distributors as business partners and align on Abbott's priorities while helping them manage their ROIs - Work closely with the Talent Acquisition & Business HR team to recruit the right talent for vacant positions - Provide real-time coaching and feedback to the sales team in the field on all aspects of the customer lifecycle - Accelerate the development of digital knowledge and application in the sales team - Maintain development plans for sales team members at individual and team levels - Optimize team performance through regular review and feedback mechanisms - Provide direct support to trade sales reps in the field through collaborative problem-solving and education - Act as a business advisor to distributors to help them maximize ROI while supporting Abbott's priorities and strategy - Monitor competition activity in the market and share feedback with management - Act in alignment with compliance and regulatory expectations Qualifications Required: - Graduate in any field with an MBA/PGDM in Sales/Marketing - Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably 5+ years at the area level in an FMCG company - Knowledge of market dynamics, demographics, channel sales, negotiation skills, people development, networking ability, and influencing ability.,
