Job Title: Senior Area Business Manager

Department: Sales & Marketing
Location: Delhi
Reporting To: Institutional Sales Manager

Job Summary:

An Area Business Manager (ABM) is responsible for managing sales operations in a specific geographic area. They lead a team (e.g., Medical Representatives or Sales Executives), ensure achievement of sales targets, and build relationships with clients or healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Target Achievement

  • Ensure achievement of area-wise sales targets and growth objectives.
  • Monitor team performance and implement strategies to drive revenue.

2. Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of Field Sales Officers or Medical Representatives.
  • Assign targets, motivate team members, and evaluate their performance regularly.

3. Territory Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement territory-wise action plans.
  • Optimize coverage of doctors, chemists, stockists, and hospitals (for pharma roles).

4. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Report and suggest actionable insights to the Regional Business Manager or Head Office.

5. Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (doctors, hospitals, chemists, distributors).
  • Organize CMEs, doctor meets, or product awareness events.

6. Distribution & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Ensure product availability and smooth coordination with distributors and stockists.
  • Resolve supply issues and ensure timely order processing.

7. Reporting & Documentation

  • Submit sales reports, activity reports, and expense statements on time.
  • Maintain data on doctor visits, territory coverage, and prescription generation (in pharma).

8. Compliance & Ethical Promotion

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, code of conduct, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Promote products ethically without violating promotional norms.

  • Proficiency in CRM/sales software tools (if applicable)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
