As a Senior Architect and Project Lead at Landmarkz Architectural Consultancy in Pune, Maharashtra, you will play a crucial role in leading impactful consultancy projects. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will be instrumental in driving innovative design and regulatory excellence across diverse sectors. **Role Overview:** - Lead large-scale consultancy projects with full design and regulatory strategy oversight. - Own small to mid-value projects independently, managing design, compliance, and seamless delivery. - Prepare, review, and ensure architectural documentation meets client and statutory requirements. - Chair interdisciplinary meetings, coordinate teams, set clear project goals, and manage resources to meet strict deadlines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform thorough reviews of architectural, civil, and MEP drawings for accuracy and compliance. - Identify and resolve design or coordination issues in MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing). - Collaborate closely with internal and external MEP engineers, leading coordination meetings to prevent technical clashes. - Own the permit application strategy and maintain proactive communication with regulatory authorities. - Interpret and enforce local/national building codes, fire regulations, PESO guidelines, NBC, and municipal by-laws. - Lead submission of compliance documents and manage technical responses to authority queries. - Mentor architects, drafters, and interns to ensure well-coordinated technical outputs. - Uphold Landmarkzs high-quality standards for documentation and design integrity. - Develop and implement quality control protocols for architectural and MEP coordination across projects. **Qualifications Required:** - Accredited Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture. - Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience leading multidisciplinary commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects. - Deep experience preparing and submitting statutory documents to municipal and specialist agencies (e.g., PESO, Fire). - Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office; experience with project scheduling tools is a plus. - Preferred: Demonstrated hands-on experience with MEP drawing review, coordination, and quality assurance. - Exceptional technical communicator, adept at leading meetings and coordinating with clients, authorities, and consultants. - Strong knowledge of building codes and standards including UDCPR, NBC, IBC, and NFPA. - Registered Architect with the Council of Architecture (COA) is a plus. - Proven skills in team leadership, mentoring, and process improvement.
