Senior Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities: ◦ Design and implement Control Design Documents for projects ◦ Create Single line diagrams ◦ Extract and Complained BOQs ◦ Analyze MEP drawings to identify HVAC equipment, dampers, and sensors. ◦ Review control specifications and sequences of operation. ◦ Prepare initial review documents and generate Requests for Information (RFIs). ◦ Develop Bills of Materials and select appropriate sensors, control valves, dampers, airflow stations, controllers, etc. ◦ Design control and interlock wiring for devices and controllers, including terminations. ◦ Prepare I/O summaries & Design BMS network architecture. ◦ Follow established processes and guidelines to execute projects within defined timelines. ◦ Experience in the engineering, installation, and commissioning of HVAC and BMS. Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication Engineering. • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, cooling towers, primary/secondary pumping systems, hot water systems, and various air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), and VAV systems. • In-depth knowledge of BMS architecture, including operator workstations, supervisory and DDC controllers, sensors, and actuators. • Familiarity with communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and others. • Proficient in wiring starters, field devices, safety interlocks, and control panels. ◦ Demonstrate proficiency and hands-on experience with AutoCAD, including customization using LISP routines. ◦ Experience in LISP for automating tasks is good to have ◦ HVAC Control sequences experience ◦ Familiarity with 3D software • Fast learner with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
