Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated

Senior Application Developer

with strong expertise in

C and C++ programming languages

. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications, with

preferred experience in Mainframe environments

. The role requires working in

Agile teams

to deliver robust and scalable solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code in C and C++.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements.
  • Analyze existing software for improvements and participate in architectural reviews.
  • Integrate with and maintain systems on Mainframe platforms (z/OS, COBOL, JCL) as needed.
  • Apply Agile methodologies to plan, deliver, and continuously improve features and applications.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
  • Create and maintain documentation of systems, processes, and workflows.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with C and C++ in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with debugging tools, compilers, and memory management in C/C++.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development practices (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to Mainframe technologies, including COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, or experience with z/OS operating systems.
  • Understanding of legacy system modernization and integration strategies.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Shell is a plus.
