Job Description

Location: [Hyderabad/Hybrid 4-1]

Department: Technology/Engineering

Reports To: CTO & CEO

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior System/Application Architect to design, implement, and oversee critical enterprise-level systems and applications. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in modern application deployment practices, cloud platforms, and infrastructure management, with a keen eye towards emerging AI technologies as a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of scalable, resilient, and maintainable solutions for complex applications, aligning with business needs and technology strategy.
Application Deployment: Architect and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines ensuring seamless deployment, version control, and rollback capabilities; promote automation throughout the deployment lifecycle.
Cloud Management: Architect and manage cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP, leveraging best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization.
Infrastructure Oversight: Design and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation); guide decisions on containerization, orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), networking, and storage.
System Integration: Develop integration strategies for legacy and modern systems, ensuring data consistency, security, and high performance.
AI & Advanced Technologies: (Bonus) Collaborate on AI and ML-driven solutions—incorporate AI tools or frameworks into system design when relevant.
Governance & Best Practices: Define and educate on architectural standards, governance, and documentation; conduct architecture reviews and technical mentoring.
Performance & Security: Recommend strategies to optimize system performance, scalability, and security in production environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in software engineering/architecture including significant hands-on deployment and infrastructure work.
Deep experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure); certifications a plus.
Extensive experience with application deployment strategies and CI/CD processes (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Github Actions etc.).
Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Solid background in infrastructure management using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
Demonstrated ability architecting mission-critical systems with high security and reliability demands.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, frameworks or deployment patterns (TensorFlow, PyTorch, model serving) is a strong plus.
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud and on-premise solutions.
Exposure to DevSecOps and automated security practices.
Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architectures, and API management.
Experience working in Agile environments and mentoring junior engineers
