How will you make an impact in this role?

  • Analyzes and determines information needs and elements, data relationships and attributes, data flow, and data output and reporting capabilities
  • Coordinates new data development and ensures consistency and integration with the existing data warehouse structure
  • Creates Tableau dashboards that provide the ability to answer a variety of questions quickly and efficiently
  • Reviews business requests for data and data usage
  • Articulates user stories and use cases for data requests
  • Meets regularly with internal stakeholders to determine analytical needs and translates requirements into ready to use dashboards, reports, and/or other analytics resources
  • Participates in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality
  • Coordinates and participates in the testing of new data models and analytical tools
  • Creates, updates and maintains of documentation for data dictionaries, dashboards, and other analytical tools
  • Provides analytical support to ongoing projects and ad hoc data requests

Minimum Qualifications

  • Expertise and demonstrated experience in Tableau
  • Very strong SQL skills and proficiency in a scripting language (Python or R) for data analysis
  • Demonstrated expertise building interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau or similar software
  • Familiarity with statistical methods and concepts
  • Experience working with large datasets, including planning, conducting, interpreting, and explaining the outcomes of data analyses
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, engineering, math, science, economics, etc).
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new things – new techniques, tools and approaches to solve questions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
