Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior AI Engineer specializing in Speech, Vision, and Multimodal Systems. Based in Hyderabad, the Senior AI Engineer will lead the design and development of advanced AI solutions in areas such as speech processing, vision systems, and multimodal applications. The engineer will be responsible for researching new methodologies, implementing cutting-edge algorithms, optimizing machine learning models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.

The Role

We're seeking a talented Senior AI Engineer to join our founding team and help shape the core of our real-time translation technology. You'll work directly with the founding team to design, develop, and deploy AI models that power seamless multilingual communication experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement machine learning models for real-time speech recognition and translation

Optimize AI models for low-latency performance in voice and video call environments

Build and maintain scalable ML pipelines for training and deployment

Collaborate with the product team to integrate AI capabilities into the communication platform

Research and implement state-of-the-art NLP and speech processing techniques

Monitor and improve model performance, accuracy, and reliability

Contribute to technical architecture decisions and infrastructure design

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field

3+ years of experience in machine learning and AI development

Strong expertise in NLP, speech recognition, or translation technologies

Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)

Experience with real-time systems and low-latency optimization

Understanding of audio processing and signal processing fundamentals

Solid knowledge of neural networks, transformers, and deep learning architectures

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with speech-to-text or translation APIs (Whisper, Google Translate API, etc.)

Knowledge of WebRTC and real-time communication protocols

Background in multilingual NLP models

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Familiarity with React Native or mobile application development

Previous startup or early-stage company experience
