Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Accountant, based on-site in Paonta Sahib. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts receivable and payable, reconciling ledgers, and ensuring compliance with Excise , audits and accounting regulations. The role includes preparing tax filings, budgeting, financial reporting, and analyzing financial data to assist in decision-making. The Senior Accountant will also oversee accurate bookkeeping and collaborate with various departments to maintain financial accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven Experience in Excise, GST, VAT, etc.
Proficient in financial reporting, ledger reconciliation, and tax filing
Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bookkeeping
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial data analysis
Familiarity with accounting software and tools
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CA certification is a plus
Experience in the manufacturing or beverage industry is an advantage
