Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:Handle day-to-day accounting activities for clients across various sectors. Finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable standards. Prepare and review GST returns, TDS returns, and coordinate tax payments and reconciliations. Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits independently, including coordination with clients and auditors. Ensure timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/yearly closing and reporting. Review and guide junior team members on accounting entries, reconciliations, and client queries. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and cash flow projections. Liaise with clients for documentation, clarifications, and ensure service delivery in a professional manner. Assist in the preparation of income tax returns and supporting schedules. Stay updated on changes in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory guidelines. Key Skills and Competencies:Strong knowledge of accounting standards, Income Tax, TDS, and GST. Experience with accounting software like Tally Prime, Zoho Books, Busy, or similar. Familiarity with MCA, ROC, and tax portal compliance. Proficient in MS Excel and other Office tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines efficiently. Qualifications:B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or CA firm environment.
