Senior Accountant

We are looking for an ambitious Senior Accountant for Edible oil Manufacturing Company to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. He/she will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances.

Preparing financial statements and reporting are a large part of the junior accountant’s day-to-day work. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.

The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department and help the company be fully aware of its financial condition. This way it can make the right decisions and accomplish long term success.

Responsibilities

· Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

· Update accounts receivable and issue invoices

. Settlement Lab Report

· Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations & Payment process

. Filling & preparation of GST return & TDS return Data & other statutory compliance

· Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines

· Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned

· Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.

· Prepare and submit to Director weekly/monthly reports

· Assist to Auditor in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings

· Assist with other accounting projects

Qualification:-

• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in finance and accounting
• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in accounting and finance or accounting and taxation

Experience:-

1.Minimum two-three years’ experience as an accountant in manufacturing industry.

2. Knowledge in filling of GST return & TDS return Data & statutory compliance report .

Skills:-

Accounting skills: Knowledge of various accounting tools and software is essential for a fulfilling career. Being proficient in Indian or commonly used accounting standards is often desirable for this role.

Computer skills: The ability to use accounting software, word processing tools and spread sheet software can help you advance in your career. For spending less time on mundane accounting tasks, it is essential to be proficient in computer skills.

Analytical skills: To identify accounting problems and recommend solutions, accountants require excellent analytical skills. The ability to research and conduct accounting risk management can help you become a successful accountant.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
