We are looking for a Plant Manager who can oversee production, ensure smooth operations, and also manage certain administrative aspects of the business. Position Overview: The Plant Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, including production planning, quality control, workforce management, safety, and efficiency. Additionally, this role will involve handling administrative functions such as vendor coordination, compliance, reporting, and general office management. Key Responsibilities: Plant Operations: Plan, organize, and manage plant operations to achieve production targets. Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement continuous improvement practices. Monitor equipment, preventive maintenance, and minimize downtime. Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Supervise and lead the plant workforce, ensuring discipline and productivity. Administration & Coordination: Oversee purchase of consumables, raw material coordination, and vendor management. Ensure proper record-keeping, documentation, and reporting to management. Handle statutory compliance and liaise with government/industrial authorities when required. Manage day-to-day administrative functions like office upkeep, facility management, and staff coordination. Support management with MIS reports, budgeting inputs, and cost monitoring. Candidate Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Manufacturing/Industrial Management (preferred). 5–10 years of experience in plant operations or manufacturing management. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process improvement, and compliance requirements. Good communication skills and ability to handle admin-related tasks. Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems is an advantage.
