Senior Accountant

Core Responsibilities

• Record Keeping & Reconciliation:Accurately record all financial transactions, maintain ledgers, and reconcile bank and other accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Financial Reporting:Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Analysis & Budgeting:Analyze financial data to identify trends, monitor spending, manage budgets, and forecast financial performance.
• Taxation:Calculate and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Compliance:Ensure all financial records and processes adhere to accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
• Audits:Conduct and assist with both internal and external financial audits to verify accuracy and compliance.
• Financial Guidance:Provide financial advice to management to inform strategic decisions, improve profitability, and reduce costs.

Typical Duties

• Process accounts payable and receivable.
• Manage payroll functions.
• Monitor cash flow and financial risk.
• Review contracts and process payments.
• Examine financial discrepancies and resolve irregularities.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations.

Skills Required

• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings to management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
