Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Corporate Accountant based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The Senior Corporate Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and budget management. This role involves preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. The individual will also collaborate with various departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
Proficiency in budgeting, financial analysis, and audit preparation
Familiarity with financial software and tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or relevant certification is preferred
Experience in the corporate sector and high proficiency in corporate financial practices is a plus
