Senior Accountant

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage the company’s billing, GST, financial accounting, business and personal accounting for director's, and investments/shares-related accounting. The ideal candidate must have 8–10 years of hands-on accounting experience with strong knowledge of Tally and Zoho Books (compulsory).

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Maintain and finalize books of accounts (Monthly/Quarterly/Annual)
• Handle day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, and closing activities
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and schedules
• GST & Statutory Compliance (compulsory required)
• Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns
• Manage GST reconciliation, GST audit support, and responding to notices
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants for statutory compliance
• Billing & Receivables/Payables
• Oversee invoicing and billing cycles
• Monitor collections and vendor payments
• Maintain accurate ledgers and reconciliations
• Shares / Investments / Capital Accounting (Preferred)
• Record and track equity, mutual funds, and securities transactions
• Handle corporate actions (bonus, splits, dividends, rights, ESOP, etc.)
• Maintain investment and capital gain working
• Business & Personal Accounting
• Maintain books for business as well as related personal accounts
• Track expenses, assets, loans, and financial planning-related records
• Process & Controls
• Implement best practices and internal controls
• Maintain documentation and compliance records

Required Experience & Skills

• 5–8+ years of core accounting experience (mandatory)
• Expert knowledge of Tally & Zoho Books (compulsory)
• Strong understanding of GST, accounting standards, audit support & compliance
• Experience handling shares/investment accounting
• Excellent knowledge of reconciliations, financial reporting & analysis
• Strong Excel & analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with ownership and responsibility
• Experience coordinating with auditors, banks, and consultants

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter (or equivalent)
• Prior experience in SME / Professional Services / Trading / Investment environment is an advantage

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
