About the Role

Ignite Travel Solution is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage our financial operations, with a strong focus on travel industry accounts. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally or similar platforms and must be confident handling GST, TCS and travel booking-related accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries.
• Maintain and update financial records using Tally or similar accounting software.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Handle GST, TCS, and other statutory compliance including filing, reconciliation and documentation.
• Oversee booking-related accounts, vendor payments, customer invoices and reconciliation of travel transactions.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare reports and assist in budgeting and financial planning.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks and internal departments for smooth financial processes.
• Ensure proper documentation, accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency within the accounts department.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Tally or similar accounting software.
• Good understanding of GST, TCS and statutory compliance.
• Prior experience in the travel and tourism industry is given high priority.
• Ability to manage booking accounts and travel-related financial entries.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Experience handling multiple branches or business units.
• Knowledge of travel vendor billing systems and reconciliation processes.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
