✅ Job Description: Senior Accountant – Head of Accounts Location : Mumbai, India Experience : Minimum 8 years Industry : Export-oriented (Hand Embroidery & Garment Manufacturing) Department : Accounts & Finance Reporting to : Managing Director / CEO Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead our Accounts Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in export documentation, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and government incentives like RoDTEP and Duty Drawback , along with hands-on experience in Tally/ERP systems and CMS banking . The role demands adherence to Indian accounting standards and compliance with all legal, statutory, and procedural requirements. Key Responsibilities / Deliverables Supervise and manage the entire accounts department. Oversee bookkeeping, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and finalization of accounts . Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax Returns, and ROC filings . Handle RoDTEP, Duty Drawback claims , and all export-related statutory documentation. Manage CMS and online banking operations with vendor/customer reconciliations. Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors to ensure timely audit closures. Monitor compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Companies Act , and other relevant laws. Implement and optimize Tally or ERP software and internal accounting controls. Submit financial reports, budgets, and MIS reports to management monthly. Coordinate with customs, DGFT, banks, and CA firms for smooth operations.
