Garment Designer & SAMPLER

Experience Level : 3-6 Years Location : Mumbai Job Type : Full-time Key Responsibilities: Create seasonal sampling collections in line with European fashion trends , including colours, silhouettes, fabrics, and finishes. Develop creative, technically feasible Western garment samples across various styles, fabrics, and embroidery techniques. Use latest fashion design software to translate ideas into technical packs and visual presentations. Coordinate with internal teams (embroidery, pattern, production) to convert concepts into final samples. Present design collections to international buyers and assist in showcasing sample ranges. Key Requirements: Minimum 3 years’ experience in fashion design and sampling for export markets, preferably in Western garments. Strong understanding of seasonal trends, colours, fabrics , and European fashion sensibilities . Proficiency in fashion design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D, or CorelDRAW . Hands-on experience in sample development, fit trials , and embellishment techniques (especially hand embroidery). A strong design portfolio showcasing recent work in Western wear – must be submitted with the application. Excellent communication and time-management skills. Qualifications and Skills : Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Fashion, Textiles, Merchandising, or a related field. 3-6 years of hands-on experience in Garment designing and sampling. In-depth knowledge of hand embroidery techniques, materials, and trends preferred. Strong project management and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with artisans and cross-functional teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant merchandising software, photoshop, coral draw.
