Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Mumbai. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including preparing and reviewing financial statements, maintaining company budgets, and handling tax compliance. The role also involves reconciling accounts, monitoring financial transactions, and supporting audits. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and provide insights to aid decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting skills, including proficiency in financial statement preparation, budgeting, and account reconciliation
• In-depth knowledge of tax compliance and regulatory requirements, with experience supporting audits
• Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of financial software and tools, and familiarity with finance practices and procedures
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA certification preferred
• Previous experience in a similar accounting or financial role, preferably in a corporate or SME-focused environment
