Senior Accountant

DCB 928-931, 9th Floor, DLF Cyber City Patia, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India, Pin-751 024 Reports To: Finance Manager / Head of Finance Job Summary: The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy of financial records, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely preparation of financial statements. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting along with the ability to lead a small team. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements. Handle audits (internal, statutory, and tax) and coordinate with auditors. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial forecasting. Assist management in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning. Review and finalize Balance Sheet, P&L Account, and other MIS reports. Implement and improve internal control systems and accounting policies. Supervise and guide junior accountants and accounts staff. Liaise with banks, vendors, and other stakeholders for financial matters. Requirements:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. Professional qualification (CA/ICWA/Inter CA) preferred. Minimum 4–7 years of proven experience in accounting & finance. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations. Proficiency in Tally ERP, SAP, or other accounting software. Advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to lead a team and work under deadlines.
