Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. The ideal candidate will combine excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to support accurate financial reporting and ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities: Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities. Maintain the general ledger and ensure its accuracy and integrity. Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP or IFRS. Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and tax reporting. Ensure timely filing of tax returns and regulatory compliance (local, state, and federal). Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making. Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes. Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff. Improve and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
