Qualification: B. Comm ( Pass) with atleast 3 yrs experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with a strong background in the freight forwarding and logistics industry. The ideal candidate should have an experience of 3 to 5 years in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances accurately and timely.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely billing and collections.
Monitor freight-related costs and support costing and profitability analysis.
Assist in audits, both internal and external, and prepare required documentation.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls in line with industry standards.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Stay updated with accounting regulations and freight forwarding practices.

Requirements:

B.comm qualified,
3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a freight forwarding or logistics firm.
Strong knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
Good understanding of freight cost structures, invoicing, and documentation.
Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other Indian statutory regulations.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management.
Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
