Senior Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee and manage the entire financial compliance and payroll operations for our organization. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of EPF, ESIC, GST, and must be capable of handling salary disbursement for 500+ employees with 100% accuracy and timely compliance.Payroll Management: Prepare, verify, and process salaries of over 500 employees. Ensure TDS, professional tax, and other deductions are calculated and submitted accurately. Coordinate with HR for attendance, leaves, and incentive calculations. EPF & ESIC Compliance: Timely registration, contribution filing, and challan generation. Coordinate with labor departments for inspections, audits, and notices. Maintain updated records and resolve discrepancies for employee UANs and ESIC numbers. GST Compliance: Monthly GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.). Maintain input/output reconciliation. Handle e-invoicing, GST audits, and notices if any. Accounting & Bookkeeping: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Maintain general ledger entries, bank reconciliation, and cash flow reports. Support auditors in statutory and internal audits. Software Knowledge: Expertise in Tally, Excel, and payroll compliance software (like Saral, GreytHR, ECLMS, etc.) Experience with online portals for EPFO, ESIC, TRACES, and GSTN. --- ✅ Desired Candidate Profile: Qualification: B.Com/M.Com or CA Inter Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role Skills: Strong understanding of labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance Personal Traits: Attention to detail, proactive attitude, leadership capabilities, ability to work under pressure --- 💰 Salary: As per industry standards and candidate’s experienced
