Senior Account Manager

As a Senior Accountant at Stag Elevators, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial analysis. Your technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment will be essential for success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards. - Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audits, and internal policies. - Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports and recommendations. - Support external audits by providing required documentation and explanations. - Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets. - Mentor and support junior accounting staff, providing guidance on accounting best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve financial efficiency. **Qualifications & Skills:** - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA/CA preferred). - Minimum 6-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role. - Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar ERP systems). - Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling). - Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and leadership abilities. - High level of integrity and attention to detail.
