Job Title: Senior Account Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly driven Senior Account Manager with a proven track record in IT Services sales and account growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for pitching to new and existing clients, managing strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth across key accounts. You will work closely with delivery teams, solution architects, and leadership to position service offerings including application development, support, cloud, DevOps, data engineering, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Understand client goals and challenges; provide strategic guidance and solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product, delivery) to deliver consistent value to clients.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and upsell/cross-sell relevant services or solutions.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews).
  • Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of client issues.
  • Track account metrics (revenue, retention, satisfaction) and report regularly to leadership.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and market developments that may impact clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in account management or client-facing sales roles in IT services
  • Proven experience in pitching IT solutions, proposal creation, and contract closure
  • Deep understanding of services like application development, support, cloud, DevOps, data & analytics, etc.
  • Strong network and experience working with mid to large enterprises globally
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet aggressive revenue goals
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Technology, or related fields

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with clients in BFSI, Retail, Healthcare, or Manufacturing verticals
  • Knowledge of modern delivery models – Agile, Scrum, Nearshore/Offshore
  • Exposure to CRM tools like Zoho

KPIs / Targets:

  • Quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Number of new accounts onboarded
  • Existing account growth (YoY %)
  • Client satisfaction (CSAT/NPS)
  • Proposal win rate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mogappair, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
