Senior Account Executive

Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards. Record day-to-day financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Reconcile bank statements, vendor and customer accounts regularly. Maintain general ledger and ensure timely postings and adjustments. 2. Balance Sheet Closure Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including accruals, depreciation, and provision entries. Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits. Ensure timely closure of balance sheets and resolve discrepancies or variances. 3. TDS Compliance Calculate and deduct TDS as per applicable provisions. Prepare and file timely TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.). Issue TDS certificates (Form 16, 16A) to vendors and employees. Maintain proper records of TDS payments and ensure reconciliation with books. 4. GST Filing & Compliance Ensure accurate and timely filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9). Reconcile GST input credit with GSTR-2B and books of accounts. Handle GST registration, amendments, and resolution of notices from the GST department. Keep up to date with changes in GST laws and implement required changes in processes. Requirements: Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) Experience: 4–7 years in accounting, preferably in a mid to large-sized organization Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or any other accounting software Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office tools Good understanding of Indian accounting standards, TDS, and GST regulations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
