Senior Academic Counselor

Key Responsibilities

• Academic Advising & Student Support:
• Offer one-on-one counseling to students on course selection, degree requirements, and academic policies .
• Monitor academic progress, intervene for at-risk students, and coordinate early intervention programs .
• Assist with study abroad approvals, credit overloads, and graduation audits .
• Program Development & Leadership:
• Design and implement academic support workshops (e.g., career planning, study skills).
• Lead projects to improve retention and graduation rates, analyzing data to inform strategies .
• Supervise junior advisors and collaborate with faculty on curriculum alignment .
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Liaise with faculty, administrators, and parents to resolve academic or policy issues .
• Partner with campus resources (e.g., mental health services, career centers) for holistic student support .
• Administrative Duties:
• Maintain confidential student records and generate reports on academic trends .
• Update advising materials (e.g., websites, handbooks) to reflect policy changes .

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,524.27 - ₹24,826.81 per month
