Job Description

The Academic Coordinator will play a key role in planning, supervising, and enhancing the academic delivery across various programs—school education, skill development courses, and enrichment activities. The coordinator will ensure high-quality learning outcomes by supporting teachers/trainers, monitoring student performance, and aligning curriculum with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:Academic Planning & Execution

  • Oversee day-to-day academic operations of the school and/or skill training center.
  • Develop and implement academic calendars, timetables, and course schedules.
  • Ensure syllabus completion and curriculum alignment with NIOS, skill programs (e.g., NIIT), and internal standards.
  • Coordinate subject-specific content development and academic enrichment activities.

Teacher Support & Supervision

  • Support teachers/trainers in lesson planning, pedagogy, and classroom management.
  • Conduct periodic classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organize regular teacher meetings, academic reviews, and training workshops.
  • Address academic issues, learning gaps, and instructional challenges.

Student Assessment & Monitoring

  • Design and monitor periodic assessments, exams, and evaluations.
  • Analyze academic data and maintain student progress records.
  • Support remedial classes, counseling, or interventions for students falling behind.

Liaison & Communication

  • Coordinate between teaching staff, administrative staff, and external partners (e.g., NIIT Foundation, CSR partners).
  • Facilitate academic reporting to funders, government agencies, or parent groups when needed.
  • Act as a key point of contact for curriculum partners like NIOS, NIIT Foundation, etc.

  • Ability to mentor and guide teachers/trainers.
  • Data-driven mindset and attention to detail.
  • Empathy and sensitivity to work with underserved communities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,086.00 - ₹56,838.35 per month
