Senior Academic Advisor

We are looking for a knowledgeable and student-focused Senior Academic Advisor to guide students in making informed academic and career decisions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert counseling, supporting academic planning, improving enrollment conversions, and mentoring the advising team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide academic and career guidance to prospective and enrolled students
• Assist students in understanding program options, course structures & career outcomes
• Conduct advising sessions via calls, online meetings, and in-person interactions
• Evaluate students’ academic goals and recommend suitable pathways
• Maintain detailed student records and track progress & follow-ups
• Support the admissions team with counseling & conversion of inquiries
• Plan and conduct student orientation, workshops & guidance seminars
• Resolve academic queries, handle escalations, and ensure student satisfaction
• Analyze advising reports and provide improvement strategies
• Guide and mentor junior advisors to enhance performance

Requirements

• Graduation
• 1 to 3 years of experience in academic advising / counseling / student success roles
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to guide students with empathy, patience, and professional knowledge
• Experience using CRM / student management systems
• Excellent presentation and mentoring skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
