Job Description

As an Endpoint Security SME, you will be responsible for managing endpoint security solutions and ensuring the overall network security infrastructure operates effectively. Your key responsibilities include: - Proficiency in managing endpoint security solutions and experience in working with Windows, Linux, and Unix environments. - Hands-on experience in commissioning and implementing endpoint security solutions, integrating with various management and authentication authorization tools. - Automation of processes using scripting and configuration tools, managing policies, exceptions, and incident, problem, service request management. - Utilizing network monitoring tools to isolate events before service degradation occurs and supporting incident monitoring and analysis/response initiatives. - Troubleshooting network layers and conducting daily performance checks, periodic audits, and compliance. - Implementing and maintaining network security policies, standards, and procedures, deploying and maintaining access and security policies. - Creating technical documentation, network diagrams, inventory control documentation, and security documentation. - Coordinating with OEMs for support and replacement, leading and mentoring L1 Engineers team, and ensuring ticket closure in SLA. Qualifications required for this role include: - 8-10 years of experience in network security with at least 5 years in managing endpoint solutions. - Experience with McAfee/Trellix or similar products, incident management, change management, configuration management, and capacity management of endpoint security solutions. - Ability to read packet captures and analysis using tools like Wireshark/Pcap, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrated success in managing complex issues. - Ownership of technology, ability to work with REST API/SDK for tool integration, and closure of compliance and audit points as per timelines.
