Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Security Administrator to manage and enforce our organization's information security policies, infrastructure, and procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting systems and networks from internal and external threats, ensuring compliance with security standards, and maintaining robust cybersecurity controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain security tools and systems (firewalls, an virus, SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, etc.).
  • Configure and enforce access control policies including user authentication, role-based access, and privilege management.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, alerts, and vulnerabilities using established protocols.
  • Maintain and update security configurations, patches, and firmware for systems and network equipment.
  • Support vulnerability assessments and penetration tests and assist in remediating findings.
  • Manage endpoint security solutions, including encryption, malware protection, and mobile device policies.
  • Conduct audits of system access logs, user activity, and network traffic to detect anomalies or potential breaches.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's security policies and procedures.
  • Provide user training and awareness on information security best practices.
  • Prepare security reports and documentation for internal stakeholders and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Informa on Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in system or network security administration.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise security technologies (firewalls, SIEM, EDR, DLP, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, encryption, and authentication techniques.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or HIPAA. Key Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and risk assessment capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and opera ng systems (Windows/Linux)
  • Effective communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across team

Preferred Certifications (Any of the following)

  • CompTIA Security+ Certified Informa on Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
  • Cisco Certified Cyber-Ops Associate
  • GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
