.This role offers the opportunity to ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of a cutting-edge contact center platform. As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will work closely with product engineers to design and implement automated test coverage, validate features, and improve testing pipelines. You will focus on both frontend and backend systems, including Electron-based desktop applications and AI-powered features. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across time zones with US-based teams. By building robust automation and monitoring frameworks, you will directly contribute to delivering high-quality software and seamless user experiences.
Accountabilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright for UI and browser testing
- Conduct bi-weekly regression testing to ensure stable releases and comprehensive feature coverage
- Collaborate with developers to design testable systems and improve unit and integration test coverage
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and testing workflows using GitHub Actions to increase release reliability
- Identify gaps in existing test plans and develop automation for missing smoke tests and complex scenarios
- Test and validate AI-powered features, ensuring correct behavior, performance, and reliability
- Serve as first-line support for engineering, helping to triage and reproduce reported issues
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and JavaScript
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, preferably Playwright
- Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in test automation for Electron applications is a plus
- Understanding of AI model validation and prompt testing is desirable
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills across the software stack
- Ability to work remotely while aligning with US working hours
- Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative mindset with a focus on preventing defects
