Position Overview

Android Developer (SDE II)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain advanced Android applications using

  Kotlin (Java - Bonus)

  .
• Lead feature development end-to-end, ensuring

  scalability, performance, and reliability

  .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and backend integrations.
• Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Debug and Fix issues reported by Crash reporting tools
• Contribute to code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Mentor and guide junior developers in the team.
• Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and trends in Android development.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years

  of hands-on experience in Android development.
• Strong knowledge of

  Android SDK, different versions of Android, and handling multiple screen sizes

  .
• Proficiency in

  Kotlin (Java - Bonus)

  .
• Experience working with

  RESTful APIs, backend integration, and dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger)

  .
• Familiarity with

  Jetpack components

  (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room, etc.).
• Understanding of

  MVVM architecture

  and scalable app design.
• Knowledge of

  Git, CI/CD workflows, and version control best practices

  .
• Worked on Unit and Integration Test Cases.
• Hands-on experience of Custom Views and Animations.
• Strong problem-solving skills, debugging expertise, and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in collaborative teams.
• Prior experience in mentoring or supporting junior developers is a plus.
