SDE-3 (MERN Stack Developer)

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership

  • Lead a team of developers, review code, enforce best practices, and mentor juniors.

  • Own the end-to-end design, architecture, and delivery of complex features in MERN stack.
  • Drive

    scalability, performance, and reliability

    improvements across systems.

  • Development & Problem Solving

  • Architect and build highly scalable, secure, and maintainable applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js

    .
  • Write clean, modular, testable code following

    SOLID principles

    and design patterns.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party services.
  • Ensure applications are

    cloud-ready (AWS/GCP/Azure)

    and optimized for performance.

  • Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and QA teams to ship high-quality features.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Participate in sprint planning, design discussions, and architecture reviews.

Requirements

  • 3+ years

    of hands-on experience in

    MERN stack

    (MongoDB, Express, React, Node).
  • Proven track record of

    working on large-scale systems/products

    with high user traffic.
  • Prior experience

    leading a team or mentoring engineers

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    system design, microservices, caching, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure

    .
  • Experience with

    scalable DB design (Mongo, SQL), message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS), and Redis

    .
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
  • Exposure to

    DevOps practices

    is a plus.
