Role Overview

Software Development Engineer II (SDE-2)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality software applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services using modern frameworks.
• Participate in peer code reviews, ensuring code quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle—from concept to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and proactively recommend improvements or new tools.
• Support ongoing product enhancements and bug fixes to ensure seamless user experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–8 years

  of experience as a Software Engineer/Developer in a fast-paced, product-driven environment (preferably startups).
• Strong proficiency in

  Java, Python, or JavaScript

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Spring Boot, Django, Flask, or Node.js

  frameworks.
• Solid understanding of

  data structures, algorithms, and database design

  (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience building

  RESTful web applications

  and scalable microservices.
• Familiarity with

  version control systems

  , CI/CD pipelines, and software engineering tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing or deploying cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of DevOps concepts and automation tools.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
