Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead Agile practices across multiple teams and ensure effective delivery of high-quality software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile frameworks (especially Scrum), excellent facilitation and coaching skills, and a proven track record of managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor Agile teams in applying Scrum practices for successful delivery of IT projects.

Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies – Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Serve as a servant-leader for the team by removing obstacles, encouraging collaboration, and fostering a continuous improvement mindset.

Partner with Product Owners to ensure product backlogs are healthy, prioritized, and ready for development.

Track sprint progress and project metrics (velocity, burn-down/up charts) to ensure transparency and timely delivery.

Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to deliver high-quality solutions.

Work with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to improve overall Agile maturity across the organization.

Resolve team impediments in coordination with other departments or external stakeholders.

Ensure adherence to Agile best practices while allowing flexibility based on team needs.

Promote a culture of accountability, openness, and continuous learning.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), or equivalent Agile certifications.

Minimum 6 years of total IT/project management experience

Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.

Familiarity with scaling frameworks like SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus is a plus.

Experience in handling multiple Scrum teams or large cross-functional Agile initiatives.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Agile Coaching or SAFe Agilist certification.

Technical background or experience working with software engineering teams.

Experience in enterprise-level Agile transformation projects.
