Job Role - Scrum Master

Job Location - India Remote

Guide, coach, and motivate the Scrum team with the goal of increasing productivity and quality. Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Remove impediments or guide the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment. Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving. Facilitate getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work. Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution. Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information. Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.

Competencies

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role that involves team facilitation, coaching, and leadership in an Agile environment. Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency. Experience with successful Agile techniques such as User Stories, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games, etc.

Skill Set

• Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.). Excellent communication and mentoring skills. Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
