Job Role :- QA Automation Lead Job Location :- India (Remote) Job Description :-The QA Automation Lead within OSF Digital specializes in developing automated testing strategies and frameworks to efficiently validate the functionality and performance of software applications. This role is critical for streamlining the testing process, enhancing test coverage, and enabling faster release cycles. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to support various types of testing (e.g., regression, performance, load, security). Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation. Use the internally established automation estimation techniques to provide accurate estimations for implementation and maintenance of the automation suite. Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and deployment pipeline to facilitate continuous testing. Analyze test results, identify issues and trends, and provide detailed reports on test execution and defects. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that automated tests are aligned with business requirements and application features. Maintain and enhance the automation test environment, ensuring its reliability and scalability. Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing tools, techniques, and best practices. Provide guidance and support to manual QA engineers in transitioning to automated testing. Follow the established automation-specific and general QA best practices and contribute to the improvement of QA processes and the overall QA strategy. Contributes to general testing strategy, focusing on automation testing strategy adapted to each project context and needs. Requirements Proven experience as a QA Automation Lead or in a similar role with a strong background in test automation. Hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks, Robot Framework required and any other is appreciated (e.g., Selenium,Appium, TestComplete, JUnit, TestNG). Experience with programming languages commonly used in test automation (e.g., Java, Python, C#). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset. Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive automated test scripts. Good knowledge and understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). Experience in tools commonly used in connection with test automation (e.g, Browserstask, JIRA, Xray ). Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with crossfunctional teams. Automation Expertise: Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective automated testing solutions. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in automation tools, scripting languages, and test framework development. Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying and resolving complex technical issues related to automated testing. Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with development and QA teams to enhance test coverage and application quality. Continuous Improvement: Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with the latest trends in test automation. Team Development: Mentor and develop automation QA engineers, enhancing their technical skills and fostering a culture of innovation. Strategic Alignment: Ability to align automation initiatives with business requirements and project goals. Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively convey automation strategies and test results to stakeholders.
