Scrum Master - Manager

About the Role

M2P Fintech is looking for a highly experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in the banking or payments domain to lead Agile teams in delivering secure, scalable, and compliant financial technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Agile methodologies, regulatory environments, and digital transformation initiatives within financial services.

What Will You Do in this Role

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile principles.

• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog with a focus on financial services and payment solutions.

• Guide teams in delivering high-quality, secure, and compliant software aligned with banking standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 20022).

• Identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth sprint execution.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and Agile maturity.

• Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements throughout the development lifecycle.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and InfoSec.

• Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, burndown charts, etc.) to stakeholders.

• Support Agile transformation and scaling initiatives (e.g., SAFe, LeSS) within the organization.

• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

What Youll Need to be Successful in this Role

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM I/II) or equivalent Agile certification.

• 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 2-3 years in banking or payments domain.

• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).

• Experience with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with banking/payment systems, transaction processing, and compliance standards. • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferable with:

• Experience with digital banking platforms, mobile payments, or real-time transaction systems.

• Knowledge of financial regulations (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, KYC/AML).

• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices in regulated environments.

• Agile coaching or mentoring experience.
