Job Summary:

SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements related to Sales and Distribution processes.
• Configure SAP SD module including:
• Sales order processing
• Pricing and taxation
• Delivery processing
• Billing and invoicing
• Credit management
• Output determination
• Work on integration points with other SAP modules like MM, FI, WM, and PP.
• Create functional specifications for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) objects.
• Conduct unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide end-user training and documentation.
• Support business during go-live and post-go-live phases.
• Collaborate with technical teams for development and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and resolve SAP SD-related incidents and service requests.
• Participate in SAP system upgrades, enhancements, and S/4HANA migrations (if applicable).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant.
• Strong understanding of core SAP SD processes and configuration.
• Experience in at least one full life cycle SAP SD implementation.
• Good understanding of integration with MM, FI, and other modules.
• Experience in preparing functional documentation and test cases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA SD.
• Knowledge of IDocs, EDI, and third-party interfaces.
• Exposure to Agile or SAP Activate methodology.
• SAP SD certification is a plus.
