SAP Project Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP project implementations, from requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including functional consultants, technical developers, ABAP consultants, and third-party vendors.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing communications, expectations, and reporting project progress.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively to avoid delays.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and organizational best practices.
• Conduct project review meetings, prepare status reports, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Oversee budget management, monitor project expenditures, and ensure cost efficiency.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure proper documentation of project processes, workflows, and configurations.
• Support change management and organizational readiness activities for smooth adoption of SAP solutions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to project team members to enhance skills and productivity.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAP project management, preferably with S/4 HANA or Public Cloud implementations.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, PS, PM, QM) and integration points.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex ERP projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or SAP Solution Manager.
• Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and project deliverables effectively.
  

Preferred Skills

• SAP certification in Project Management or S/4 HANA.
• Exposure to change management, process optimization, and business transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing remote or distributed teams
