Job Title: SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Consultant Position: Senior Software engineer Experience: 6 years of experience Category: Software Development Main location: Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune Work Mode: Hybrid Position ID: J0325-1759 Employment Type: Full Time Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. As an SAP PM Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing Plant Maintenance (PM) processes to ensure efficient equipment maintenance, minimal downtime, and cost-effective operations. Your role includes work order management, preventive and corrective maintenance, integration with other SAP modules, and compliance with safety regulations. You will also provide testing, troubleshooting, user training, and post-go-live support to enhance maintenance efficiency. Responsibilities and must-Have Skills: Configure and implement SAP PM for preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. Manage equipment and asset master data, including functional locations and hierarchies. Plan and schedule maintenance activities to ensure minimal downtime and optimal asset performance. Configure work orders and notifications, ensuring smooth execution and tracking of maintenance tasks. Integrate SAP PM with MM, SD, FI/CO, and EAM for seamless maintenance operations. Monitor breakdowns and corrective maintenance, ensuring timely issue resolution. Track maintenance costs and budgeting, ensuring efficient cost allocation and control. Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards in maintenance processes. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT, resolving SAP PM-related issues. Provide user training, documentation, and post-go-live support for smooth operations. Good-to-Have Skills: SAP S/4HANA PM - Experience with Plant Maintenance in S/4HANA, including Fiori apps. Integration with SAP Modules - Knowledge of SAP MM, SD, FI/CO, and EAM for seamless maintenance processes. Predictive Maintenance & IoT - Experience with IoT-enabled predictive maintenance solutions.
