SAP FI Consultant - Analytics Cloud Module

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize SAP FI modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
• Maintain and enhance existing SAP FI configurations to support evolving business needs.
• Analyze and understand business requirements in the Finance and Accounting domain.
• Recommend and implement process improvements using SAP best practices.
• Participate in at least 1-2 full-cycle SAP implementations, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, go-live, and support.
• Support data migration, cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Exposure to or working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance including Universal Journal, Central Finance, and New Asset Accounting is a strong plus.
• Prepare comprehensive functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
• Work collaboratively with ABAP developers to ensure proper implementation of technical solutions.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for finance-related incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI issues in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with finance business users, IT teams, and senior stakeholders.
• Provide end-user training, system documentation, and knowledge transfer as needed.
  

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of professional experience as an SAP FI Consultant.
• Experience with SAP ECC and exposure to SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• Minimum of 1-2 full-cycle SAP FI implementations.
• Strong hands-on configuration skills in core SAP FI modules.
• Ability to create detailed functional specifications for enhancements and custom developments.
• Familiarity with integration between SAP FI and other modules like MM, SD, and CO.
• Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles and business processes.
• Ability to map business requirements to SAP functionality effectively.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• SAP FI Certification is highly desirable.
• Experience working in multi-country rollouts or global SAP environments.
• Understanding of local and international financial compliance requirements (e.g., GST, IFRS).
• Knowledge of reporting tools like SAP Fiori apps, SAP Analytics Cloud, or BusinessObjects is a plus.
