Role : SAP ABAP Developer

Location: Hazira, Surat

Experience: 4 - 8 years

SAP ABAP Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs based on business requirements.
• Work with Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms (RICEF).
• Develop and maintain ALV Reports, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, BDC, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, and Enhancements.
• Collaborate with functional teams (MM, SD, FI, PP, etc.) for technical development.
• Analyze functional specs and create technical specifications (TSD).
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in custom objects or standard SAP programs.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Support data migration tasks using BDC, LSMW, or custom programs.
• Perform unit testing and assist with integration/UAT as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4–8 years of hands-on ABAP development experience.
• Strong knowledge of core ABAP and object-oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP).
• Experience with SAP enhancement techniques (User exits, BADI, enhancement points).
• Good understanding of Data Dictionary objects (Tables, Views, Structures, etc.).
• Exposure to Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and ALV Reporting.
• Basic knowledge of function module integration (BAPIs, RFCs).
• Familiarity with debugging and performance tuning tools
