Role: SAP ABAP HR Developer

Location: Pan India

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days

Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Client: Cognizant

Experience Required: 9 to 12 Years

Job Summary

The Principal Architect role is pivotal in designing and developing SAP solutions, focusing on HR ABAP & implementing interfaces with help of tool PU12. With a hybrid work model and 2nd shift, this position requires 11 to 15 years of experience. Offshore ABAP developer with expert level in SAP ABAP HR, PU12 and GL integration experience. The data to be retrieved from Personnel Administration (PA-PA), Payroll (PY) and Time Management components

Responsibilities

- Lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Perform the development and customization of SAP modules, focusing on HR ABAP, Core ABAP and SAP ABAP Reports.
- Offshore ABAP developer with expert level in SAP ABAP HR, PU12 and GL integration experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address system integration challenges, enhancing overall system performance.
- Provide technical expertise.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP solutions, ensuring clarity and accessibility for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in SAP development and implementation.
- Facilitate workshops with Business & other interacting teams.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored SAP solutions.
- Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve SAP system efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for automation and optimization within the SAP framework.
- Support the transition to new SAP environments, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
